Job summary

Amen Clinics, a network of outpatient mental health clinics, seeks a Patient Outcome Manager to support first contact with patients and families. You will gather comprehensive information, explain procedures, and help tailor follow-up coaching in line with treatment recommendations.

Responsibilities include completing intake paperwork, drafting history reports, and coordinating with clinicians to ensure accurate patient records and timely follow-up.

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal skills and positive references.
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field required.
• Mental health/intake experience and familiarity with medical terms and office operations preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Type 45-50 wpm.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to manage time and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures during scheduled appointments.
• Assess paperwork provided by the patient.
• Clarify intake answers with the patient and transfer to the history report.
• Gather information on medical history, past psychiatric history, education, profession, family history, and drug/alcohol history.
• Perform mental status exams, score checklists, and include results in the report.
• Complete history appointment within two hours, with typed report afterward.
• Review treatment recommendations with patient and answer questions about the physician report.
• Assess patient needs and provide relevant support.
• Assist with various duties or special assignments as time permits.
