Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR AED or BLS-HCP certification within 30 days if required at the facility.
• Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods; lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Visually and audibly monitors the assigned patient's condition and behavior at all times.
• Completes observation reports at established intervals.
• Remains at the bedside of the patient unless relieved by staff.
• Assists with calming and reorienting patients and ensuring safety.
• Assists with ordering dietary trays and basic patient mobility when appropriate.
