• Visually and audibly monitors the assigned patient's condition and behavior at all times.
• Completes observation reports at established interval.
• Interacts hospitably with staff, patients, visitors and colleagues.
• Remains at the bedside of the assigned patient unless relieved.
• Ventures to escalate to medical staff as needed.
• Assists with keeping the patient’s environment safe and orderly.
