Compass Group USA is hiring for a PART TIME PATIENT OBSERVATION ASSISTANT at Henry Ford Warren, MI. The role requires monitoring patients under RN direction, with rotating weekends/holidays and a part-time schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR/BLS or basic life support certification within 30 days, if required at the facility.
• Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• One to two years of previous experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visually and audibly monitors the patient at all times.
• Completes observation reports at established intervals.
• Interact hospitably and supportively with staff, patients, visitors and colleagues.
• Remains at the bedside unless relieved by staff.
• Redirects patient from at‑risk behaviors; escalates to medical staff as needed.
• Participates in safety identification and reporting of issues.
