Job summary

TouchPoint Support Services is hiring Patient Observation Assistants in Novi, MI. The role provides visual and audible monitoring of assigned patients under RN direction and unit management. Full and part-time positions with days/hours varying, including weekends and holidays.

Pay ranges from $15.00 to $18.00 per hour; online applications accepted only. Requires a high school diploma or GED. CPR AED or BLS-HCP certification may be required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is required.
• CPR AED or BLS-HCP certification within 30 days of hire if required at the facility.
• Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods; lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Visually and audibly monitors patient condition and behavior at all times.
• Completes observation reports at established intervals.
• Responds rapidly to emergencies and escalates to nursing staff when needed.
• Assists with keeping patient rooms safe, orderly, and properly positioned.
• Assists with patient meals, movement, and transportation when appropriate.
