Responsibilities

• Visually and audibly monitors the assigned patient’s condition at all times.
• Completes observation reports at established intervals.
• Assist with patient needs and respond to emergencies under RN supervision.
• Keep patient environment safe and report hazards to nursing staff.
• Assist with feeding, positioning, ambulation, and transport as needed.
