TouchPoint Support Services is hiring immediately for part-time Patient Observation Assistant positions at Henry Ford Providence Southfield Hospital in Southfield, MI. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR AED or BLS-HCP certification within 30 days if required.
• Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• One to two years of previous patient observation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visually and audibly monitors the assigned patient’s condition at all times.
• Completes observation reports at established intervals.
• Remains at the patient’s bedside unless relieved by staff.
• Escalates concerns to nursing staff when medical distress is observed.
• Keeps the patient’s environment safe and orderly.
