Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent healthcare experience.
• 2+ years of healthcare experience with patients.
• Strong advocacy, customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare processes.
• Experience with scheduling, referrals, insurance verification and care coordination.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through surgical and healthcare processes.
• Coordinate appointments, surgeries, testing, and post-operative follow-up.
• Assist with insurance verification, referrals, authorizations, and access to resources.
• Communicate with physicians and staff to ensure seamless care.
• Manage patient records and Electronic Health Records (EHR).
• Schedule operating room procedures and related testing.
• Build strong relationships with patients, providers, and referring physicians.
