Job summary

HALO Precision Diagnostics is seeking a Patient Navigator (Patient Support & Phlebotomy) to guide patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing. You will educate patients, coordinate care, and perform phlebotomy while collaborating with a clinical team to ensure a compassionate, high-quality patient experience.

The role offers full-time, in-person work in Houston, with English/Spanish bilingual preference and a comprehensive benefits package including stock options.

Qualifications

• Nationally certified phlebotomist with strong venipuncture skills.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience (front or back office).
• Experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing workflow.
• Coordinate education, scheduling, specimen collection, and follow‑ups.
• Perform venipuncture and handle specimen labeling and transport.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation in EMR/EHR.

Education

Nationally certified phlebotomist

BLS certification

CMA or RMA (preferred)
