Job summary

Pinnacle Fertility in Bentonville, AR is seeking a Patient Navigator to guide fertility patients through their treatment journey, coordinating appointments, tests, and referrals while educating patients on procedures, insurance, and costs.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care, maintain EMR records, provide emotional support, and assist with after-hours calls on a rotating schedule; a High School Diploma is required and fertility experience is preferred.

  • Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system.

We are seeking a Patient Navigator to join our dedicated team at Pinnacle Fertility - Arkansas in Bentonville, AR. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, guiding them through their treatment plan and providing education on procedures, testing, and follow-up care.
  • Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, tests, and referrals to ensure a smooth continuum of care.
  • Assist patients with understanding their medical care, insurance coverage, and available financial resources.
  • Communicate with healthcare providers, clinical staff, and administrative teams to ensure seamless patient care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documentation of interactions and care plans in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Provide emotional support and resources to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or barriers to care.
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care delivery.
  • Educate patients on treatment protocols, self-care strategies, and medication usage.
  • Track patient progress, follow up on missed appointments, and ensure compliance with treatment plans.
  • Advocate for patients’ needs and help resolve any issues or barriers to care.
  • Assist with after-hours call coverage on a rotating schedule, ensuring patient needs are addressed appropriately.

Position Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, patient navigation, case management, or a related healthcare role.
    • 1 year of fertility experience preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of healthcare systems, insurance processes, and patient advocacy.
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) and other healthcare software.
    • Bilingual skills are a plus.
