You will follow SOPs, document patient progress, and work under supervision of nursing or therapy staff, focusing on patient safety and infection control. BLS and mobility training sign-off are required within two weeks of hire.

Qualifikationen

• Successfully complete the mobility assistant training program and receive sign-off on competencies within two weeks of hire.
• Complete Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers within two weeks of hire.
• Preferred: Enrolled in a pre-healthcare curriculum, RN, CNA, PT, OT, COTA, or PTA program within a CTE high school medical pathway program or other.

Aufgaben

• Assist in safe patient transfers, mobility and exercise using approved devices and lifts.
• Follow SOPs, chain of command, nurse sign-offs, and patient identification procedures.
• Document patient status, progress and tolerance on approved forms per site guidelines.
• Demonstrate competency with mobility technology and body mechanics; ensure patients are never left unattended during sessions.
