Saint Luke's South Hospital is seeking a PRN Mobility Tech to join our team on the nursing unit. The role supports patient mobility, assists therapists, and performs assigned clerical and computer-related tasks.

This part-time day position is located at Saint Luke's South Hospital in the Kansas City region. The team collaborates closely with rehabilitation services and nursing departments to ensure safe patient handling and effective care.

Qualificações

• Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in lifting, transferring, and ambulating patients.
• Practice safe patient handling and ergonomics.
• Use transfer devices and tools to mobilize patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
• Perform clerical tasks and maintain computer skills.
• Set up and clean treatment areas and equipment.
• Mentor and train new technician staff.
• Perform other duties as requested by manager.

Job Description: Saint Luke's South Hospital is seeking a PRN Mobility Tech to join our team! The primary role of this position is to support patient mobility directly on the nursing unit. Performs mobilization of patients under the supervision of the rehabilitation services and nursing departments. Performs routine tasks and assists therapists during patient treatment activities as directed.

Responsibilities

• Participates in lifting, transferring, and ambulating patients.
• Practices safe patient handling skills and ergonomics.
• Utilizes transfer devices and tools to assist in mobilization of patients.
• Utilizes safety awareness to self, patients, others, and environment.
• Communicates and collaborates effectively within the interdisciplinary team.
• Performs both clerical and effective computer skills.
• Performs set up and cleanup of treatment area including appropriate equipment and supplies.
• Performs mentoring and training of new technician staff.
• Performs all other duties as requested by the manager.

• Applicable Experience: Less than 1 year
• Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
