Intermountain Healthcare Inc. in St George, Utah is seeking a PRN Patient Transporter dedicated to safety, compassion, and reliable service. You will move patients, coordinate with nurses and test sites, and use Safe Patient Handling procedures to protect patients and staff.

This role emphasizes teamwork, clear communication, and prompt responses to calls. A current BLS certification is required or obtainable within 60 days; high school diploma; prior customer service and medical exposure

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or the ability to obtain within sixty (60) days of hire.
• Must be at least 18 years of age if working in Radiology areas.
• Preferred: at least two years of customer service experience and one year of medical exposure.

Responsabilités

• Transports patients in a safe and efficient manner.
• Notifies nursing staff and test sites of patient arrival and transport status.
• Uses Safe Patient Handling equipment and standard precautions as required.
• Maintains cleanliness of transport equipment and supplies.
• Assists with patient admits and discharges and restocks supplies as needed.
