Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree in Food Management or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years experience in food service with increasing responsibilities.
• Minimum 3 years experience supervising in an institutional food service operation.
• Fire Life Safety Training (LA City); if not on hire, must obtain within 30 days.
• Preferred certification: ServSafe or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervises food production for patients and tray preparation.
• Spends 50% of time supervising staff.
• Ensures quality, safety, and regulatory standards are met.
• Handles customer service inquiries in person or by phone.
• Audits tray accuracy and assists with patient meal delivery.
