Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Patient Services Worker to support hospital and long-term care diet orders. You will deliver and collect patient trays, assist with nourishments, and act as a liaison between patients and the Food and Nutrition Services Department.

This role requires English proficiency and offers opportunities to work with clinical staff while maintaining sanitation standards and proper temperature logs to ensure patient care quality.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English required.
• Bilingual abilities preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and collects patient trays during meal service.
• Delivers nourishments and snacks as ordered by physician/dietitian.
• Visits patients to explain services of the Food and Nutrition Services Department.
• Communicates patient food needs to the Food and Nutrition Services Department.
• Maintains sanitation standards and cleaning schedules.
• Inventories and restocks pantries, refrigerators, and freezers.
• Maintains temperature logs for unit refrigerators and freezers.
• Assists clinical staff in meeting patients' basic nutrition needs.
