Job summary

Blessing Health System in Quincy, IL is seeking Tray Line Assistants to assemble patient trays, verify items against printed tickets, and assist in the dish room between meals. You will follow diet and allergy instructions, stock bulk items, operate the tray monitor (iPad) to promote/demote trays, and communicate with hosts to ensure timely deliveries.

You’ll help maintain a clean, sanitized work area and support the Food and Nutrition team in delivering high-quality patient meals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred)
• Completion of Food Safety CBL within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Providing high quality food and attentive to a variety of diets
• Effectively managing time

• Assemble patient trays and check items against tickets
• Follow diet and allergy instructions
• Stock tray line area and rotate supplies
• Operate dish room equipment and assist between meals
• Use iPad to manage trays and coordinate deliveries
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment
