Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of experience in food service or hospital dietetics
• Ability to walk/move most of the workday (approx. 95%)
• Evening schedule; 40 hours per week
• No licensure required; current ServSafe certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Delivers food trays, nourishments, and snacks to patients
• Aids with tray preparation during meal service hours
• Maintains sanitation and safety standards per JCAHO, State Health Department, and OSHA
• Transfers items from storerooms to workstations and proper storage areas
• Communicates with patients regarding meal tickets and accuracy
• Performs quality assurance via patient satisfaction surveys
• Maintains professional demeanor with patients, visitors, and staff
• Aids in tray removal and general station cleanliness
• Supports higher-level staff with meal delivery processes
