Job summary

Tampa General Hospital in Tampa is seeking a Patient Services Supervisor to oversee the patient meal assembly and distribution from the main kitchen to bedside, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years experience working in a hospital, commercial restaurant or other food service operation.
• Ability to accurately follow oral and written instructions in English, and to accurately follow instructions when using, disposing of and mixing chemicals.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates the activities of personnel engaged in the assembly and service of patient meals, and in the maintenance of all dishware and floor care.
• Organizes, conducts, and maintains customer service PI functions and reports those critically related to meal assembly and delivery.
• Directly reports operational procedures and changes to Patient Services Section Manager.
• Coaches, trains and develops new team members and participates in staff interviews and performance evaluations.
