Job summary

Tampa General Hospital seeks a Dietary Team Lead to supervise and coordinate the dietary staff across outlets at the main campus. You will coach, train, and develop team members, ensuring accurate meal assembly, timely service, and quality customer care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will participate in staff interviews, contribute to performance evaluations, assist with cash handling and catering events, and perform computer-related tasks while upholding the hospital's mission and values.

Qualifications

• Four years experience in a hospital, commercial restaurant or other food service operation.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions in English, Spanish desirable.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates staff to serve patrons at a variety of brand outlets.
• Coaches, trains and develops team members; ensures positive customer service.
• Assists management with cash control, special functions and catering; participates in staff interviews.
• Contributes to staff performance evaluations and uses company guidelines for disciplinary actions.
• Performs computer-related tasks as required.
