Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is hiring for a full-time dining associate to guide patients through meal selections, verify orders, and support positive dining experiences. You’ll use a computerized diet office system, ensure accurate trays, and address service issues to boost patient satisfaction scores.

You will work in a fast-paced hospital setting, handling routine tasks across patient areas, standing long hours, and complying with safety and nutrition standards.

Qualifications

• English fluency is required.
• Professional communication with customers in person or by phone.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficient with common hardware/software (iPad/ToughBook).

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through meal ordering using a computerized system.
• Verify patient identifiers and ensure tray accuracy.
• Address and resolve foodservice concerns to improve patient satisfaction.
• Deliver trays per therapeutic diet guidelines and maintain timeliness.
• Perform physically active duties and maintain a clean, compliant workspace.
