Job summary

Intermountain Health’s Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, CO seeks a Registered Dietitian with leadership responsibilities for patient meal services. You will partner with nursing to educate on therapeutic diets, train frontline staff, and ensure adherence to clinical best practices while maintaining cost-efficient service delivery.

The role requires managing HR functions, ensuring food safety, and collaborating with the clinical team to address patient diet orders and concerns in a hospital

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Service, Dietetics, Nutrition or Management required or equivalent.
• Registered Dietitian with CDR within 6 months of hire.
• ServSafe certification required by first day of work (states Utah and Idaho).
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations of patient meal services.
• Leads education with nursing to ensure adherence to therapeutic diets.
• Manages HR functions including hiring, training, mentoring, and evaluations.
• Ensures food safety standards and regulatory guidelines are met.
• Works with clinical team to address patient diet orders and concerns.
