Position Summary

We are hiring full and part‑time Patient Dining Associate positions at Morrison Healthcare, BMHCC NM/Oxford, 2301 South Lamar Boulevard, Oxford, MS 38655. Applicants must apply online only. Schedule: Full‑time and part‑time shifts with rotating weekends. Days and hours may vary; details discussed during interview.

Compensation

$13.00 – $15.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Patient Dining Associates work on assigned units in a healthcare facility and provide services that include helping patients make menu selections, assembling, delivering, and picking up meal trays while maintaining hygiene, safety, and quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Help patients understand menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders comply with nutritional requirements.
• Work with caregivers and culinary team to determine menu alternatives for residents with food allergies, sensitivities, cultural, ethnic or religious preferences.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals in a timely and accurate manner; retrieve trays from patient rooms at assigned times.
• Comply with regulator agency standards, including federal, state, and JCAHO; adhere to HIPAA policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food, and clean work stations and break down patient tray line.
• Follow facility infection control policies and procedures.
• Assist dietitians with patients eating via tube or on liquid diets and managing calorie counts.
• Communicate problems or concerns with patients to appropriate personnel in a timely manner, following department procedures.
• Complete all scheduled reports as outlined in company policies.
• Comply with health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
• Perform other duties assigned.

• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Can occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds and maneuver push food delivery carts.
