Job summary

Medical Center Hospital is seeking a patient meal service coordinator to manage tray assembly, delivery, and special requests across units. You will ensure timely service and accurate adherence to physician orders, while maintaining high patient satisfaction.

This role requires strong English communication, friendly interaction with patients and staff, and the ability to read and follow instructions. No prior healthcare experience is required, but desirable.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; must read, write and speak English.
• Experience in health care environment is desirable but not required.
• Strong verbal communication, reading and writing abilities required; able to interact congenially with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient meal service on all units (menu selections, tray assembly, tray delivery and pick up).
• Address special requests and needs; manage in-between meal food delivery.
• Relay patient food issues/concerns between Food & Nutrition Services and Nursing; ensure accurate diets and timing.
