Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a hospital food service employee to prepare and serve meals in patient areas and dining facilities. You will assemble and deliver patient meal trays, restock workstations, and assist with cleaning and sanitation to meet food safety standards.

You will interact with patients for meal orders, monitor temperatures and presentation, and communicate safety issues to leadership. This role supports tray-line operations and other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and delivers meal trays for patients, restocks stations, collects soiled dishes, and washes/sanitizes utensils.
• Interacts with patients to take meal orders and deliver trays.
• Monitors food lines for quality, temperature, and safety.
• Informs leadership of safety issues on units, cafeteria or kitchen.
• Restocks patient use products on tray line.
• Removes trash from kitchen.
• Maintains high presentation and food preparation standards for AHS.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
