Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years of directly relevant job-related experience may substitute for the educational requirement.

Responsibilities

• Assembles tray carts of patient lunch and dinner trays using patient diet orders.
• Sets up breakfast tray stations and assists in breakfast tray assembly.
• Delivers meals and snacks, checks for diet restrictions, and documents intake.
• Retrieves trays, strips and sorts dishes, and assists in washing.
• Delivers menus and assists patients with menu selection and host rounds.
• Checks for new admissions or diet changes and returns completed menus.
• Produces standard reports and enters patient selections in the system.
• Provides clerical support to the Hospitality Service Office.
