Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a dedicated food service associate to prepare and serve meals in a hospital dining setting. You will assemble and deliver patient meal trays, support the tray-line workflow, and ensure food safety and presentation standards are met.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma and at least 1 year of related experience; prior food service or retail customer service is a plus. This full-time role offers comprehensive benefits and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience directly related to the duties.
• Preferred: 1+ year of food service or retail customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Works in a retail and patient services environment.
• Assembles and delivers meal trays for patients, restocks workstations and cleans areas.
• Interacts with patients in taking meal orders and delivering trays.
• Monitors lines for quality, temperature and food safety.
• Notifies leadership of safety issues on units, cafeteria or kitchen.
• Restocks products for patient use on the tray line.
• Removes trash from kitchen and maintains cleanliness.
• Keeps high standards of presentation and food preparation.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
