Advocate Health is hiring for a hospital food service role in the Food and Nutrition department. You will prepare, expedite, deliver, and retrieve patient trays; assist with patient orders and cafeteria service; and help maintain cleanliness and stock levels across the unit.

Strong attention to safety, ability to follow recipes, and basic English communication are required. This position may require flexible hours including holidays and weekends.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED is required or preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of prior food handling experience preferred.
• Basic English reading/writing and numerical skills are required.

Responsabilidades

• Determines if perishable items should be excluded due to spoilage.
• Prepares, expedites, delivers and retrieves patient trays.
• Serves cafeteria customers and handles POS transactions.
• Maintains cleanliness and stocks assigned areas.
• Assists with catering orders and events setup/cleanup.
• Follows recipes and food safety processes.
