Job summary

Health Here is seeking a Patient Logistics Supervisor RN to lead the Patient Logistics Center, overseeing transfers, bed management, and capacity flow. You will collaborate with hospital staff to optimize throughput and maintain EMTALA compliance across departments.

In this role, you will mentor and develop staff, drive process improvements, and monitor quality metrics while delivering exceptional patient service and coordination with external facilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• 3+ years of acute care experience with supervisory background.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all functions of the Patient Logistics Center, including transfers, admissions, and capacity management.
• Coordinate facility throughput, bed placement, and resource allocation.

Role Overview:

As a Patient Logistics Supervisor RN, you will oversee the operations of the Patient Logistics Center, ensuring smooth patient transfers, bed management, and capacity flow. You will collaborate with hospital staff, physicians, and external facilities to optimize patient throughput and maintain compliance with EMTALA regulations. Your responsibilities include staff management, process improvement, quality assurance, and maintaining high customer satisfaction. You will coordinate resources, manage staffing within budget, and serve as a role model and mentor for staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and current RN licensure in a participating state.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• 3+ years of clinical experience in acute care with supervisory experience.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree.
• Experience in transfer centers, bed placement, and capacity management.
