Responsibilities

• Educate dialysis patients on insurance options (Medicare, Medicaid, COBRA, etc.) and coordinate enrollment.
• Obtain premium statements and signatures from patients and track paperwork for claims disputes.
• Monitor Medicaid status and spend down, and assist with indigent waivers.
• Serve as liaison between patients and local agencies for Medicare reinstatements and terminations.
• Maintain accurate insurance information for Revenue Cycle Management and QA reviews.
