Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, part of Compass Group, is hiring patient servers at Stafford Hospital in Stafford, VA. You will handle patient food service on assigned units, assemble and deliver trays, and assist with dietary requirements and special requests.

We offer full-time and part-time schedules with days and hours varying. Prior patient server experience is required. Pay ranges from $15.25 to $16.00 per hour, with online applications accepted.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Computer technical skills to operate hospital systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits a friendly, caring attitude to patients when taking menu selections and delivering trays.
• Takes patients menu selections prior to each meal.
• Complies with dietary restrictions and modified diets as required.
• Assembles trays according to patient menu selections.
• Interacts with nursing staff to ensure diet prescriptions are accurate.
• Maintains accurate and current information for each patient on assigned unit(s).
• Contributes to patient satisfaction goals by providing quality service.
