Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring patient server staff at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, VA. Full-time and part-time shifts run Monday through Friday, 6:00 am–8:00 pm with rotating weekends; pay range $15.50–$16.50 per hour.

You will prepare trays, assist with menu selections, coordinate with nursing staff, follow dietary restrictions, and uphold HACCP and HIPAA guidelines while delivering quality, compassionate service to patients.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Computer skills to operate hospital systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient food service on assigned units, including tray assembly and delivery.
• Take patients' menu selections and ensure dietary restrictions are respected.
• Assemble trays accurately and in a timely manner.
• Interact with nursing staff to meet diet prescriptions and patient needs.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment and follow HACCP guidelines.
