Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a PATIENT SERVER to support patient meals at Freeman Health Springdale in Springdale, AR. This full-time role involves serving meals, tray assembly, and coordinating with nursing staff to meet dietary needs.

The position requires 12-hour shifts, three days a week, with pay between $15.00 and $17.00 per hour. Online applications are accepted, and the team focuses on compassionate patient service and compliance with health and safety

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Computer technical skills to operate hospital systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient food service on assigned units, including menu selections, tray assembly, tray delivery and pick-up, special requests and needs, and in-between meal food delivery.
• Exhibits a friendly, caring attitude to patients when taking menu selections, delivering trays, and during rounds.
• Takes patients' menu selections prior to each meal and ensures dietary restrictions are followed.
• Assembles trays according to patients' menu selections on tray tickets in a timely and accurate manner.
• Interacts with nursing staff to ensure patients' diet prescriptions are met.
