Job summary

Morrison Healthcare at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, VA is hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Patient Server positions. Shifts run 6:00 am to 8:00 pm, Monday through Friday with rotating weekends; online applications are accepted only.

You will provide patient food service on assigned units, including menu selections, tray assembly, tray delivery and pick-up, and handling special requests. Prior customer service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Computer skills to operate hospital systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient food service on assigned units, including menu selections and tray delivery.
• Assembles trays according to patients' menu selections and tray tickets.
• Interacts with nursing staff to ensure diets and food needs are met.
• Maintains accurate information for each patient on assigned units.
• Follows HIPAA, sanitation, and safety procedures.
