Job summary

VillageMD seeks a friendly Medical Assistant to join a multidisciplinary care team in Florham Park, NJ. This full-time, benefit-eligible position supports physicians under supervision, assists with patient flow, manages rooming, chart prep, vitals, vaccines, and point-of-care testing, while ensuring accuracy in the EHR and PMS.

Candidates should have MA certification, BLS, and strong communication skills; experience with Athena EHR is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Medical Assistant certification required; BLS certification within 30 days.
• English proficiency required; strong communication and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Prepare examination room and assist with patient flow.
• Take vital signs and document in EHR.
• Assist with procedures and patient care.
• Manage patient check-in/out and scheduling.
• Stock supplies and maintain rooms.
• Perform vaccinations and point-of-care tests
