Job summary

Vivo Infusion, LLC is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant in Boerne, TX. The role combines patient care with administrative tasks, supporting clinicians and ensuring a smooth patient flow in a busy practice.

The position requires at least 1 year of clinical experience, CMA certification, CPR/BLS, and familiarity with eClinicalWorks. Regular hours are Monday–Friday, with non-exempt status and a focus on quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant Certification.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• 1 year clinical experience.
• 1 year in admin, patient-facing, or customer service role.
• Phlebotomy and lab processing skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of patient care activities rendering quality patients in accordance with standards of practice.
• Room clinic patients in person or virtually and update patient chart with required information.
• Communicate pertinent patient data to providers and nurses to ensure quality and continuity of patient care.
• Provide administrative and front-end support: Greet patients, assist with scheduling, manage calls, and process payments.
• Oversees and ensures efficient turnover of exam rooms.
• Assist provider in the exam room as requested.
• Collect, prepare, and submit ordered patient lab specimens as directed.
• Assist Patient Services team with prior authorizations for prescribed treatments and documents.
• Triage patient calls and messages and document them appropriately.
• Orders and manages supplies under manager direction.
• Disinfect and stock exam rooms.
• Obtain records required for patient chart.
