Job summary

VIVO Infusion is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our infusion center team in Flower Mound, TX. You will welcome patients, assist medical staff, and deliver safe, compassionate care in line with guidelines and regulations.

The role requires prior administrative experience, strong initiative, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical setting. This full-time position reports to the Clinical Operations Manager and offers competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred; CPR/BLS required prior to start.
• 1 year of clinical experience required.
• 1 year in an administrative, patient-facing, or customer service role required.
• Phlebotomy and lab processing skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide front-desk support, scheduling, and payments.
• Room clinic patients and document information in the chart.
• Communicate patient data to providers and nurses for continuity of care.
• Assist provider in exam rooms as needed and collect lab specimens.
• Order and manage supplies under supervisor direction and disinfect exam rooms.
• Triage patient calls and document messages; obtain prior authorizations when required.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and infection control policies.
