Qualifications

• Six years’ experience in clinical registration or scheduling.
• High school diploma required; associate/bachelor substitutions allowed.
• Experience coordinating multiple interrelated requests and maintaining schedules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain appropriate departmental schedules.
• Acts as a liaison with the Manager and Scheduling/Registration Specialists.
• Coordinates daily activities within the Scheduling/Registration department to ensure maximum productivity.
• Provides feedback to manager for HR functions such as hiring, coaching, and counseling.
• Gathers and inputs patient demographic information, insurance verification/authorization and schedules, reschedules and cancels procedures.
• Communicates prep information, arrival time and location to patient.
• Inputs and distributes charge management process daily.
• Maintains regular attendance and compliance with policies.
