Job summary

Evolving Solution Services in Nashville, TN seeks a Medical Receptionist to be the welcoming first contact, manage front-desk operations, and support billing and scheduling. You will handle patient intake, verify appointments, and maintain accurate records in the EHR.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, processing check-ins, verifying insurance, and assisting with basic coding and billing tasks. Some travel to other offices may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Medical Receptionist or similar clinical administrative role.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10/CPT basics, and billing workflows.
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR platforms (Epic, Meditech, eClinicalWorks, Athenahealth, Dentrix/Eaglesoft).
• HIPAA compliance, discretion, and professionalism.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and phone etiquette.
• Willing and able to travel to other job/office locations; reliable transportation, valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, verify appointments, and complete check-in/check-out in the EHR.
• Manage multi-line phones; schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits; capture payer details.
• Collect and update patient demographics and documentation; ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Support billing: basic coding (ICD-10, CPT), payment posting, and balance follow-up.
• Triage and route calls to appropriate staff.
• Maintain organized records and filing; support general office tasks.
• Contribute to a warm, efficient front office reflecting patient care.
• Travel to other offices as needed.
