Qualifications

• Ability to work onsite 3-4 days per week after training, including rotating Saturday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate insurance verification, authorizations, financial guidance, and accurate information for patients.
• Collaborate with patients, clinical teams, administrative staff, and insurance carriers.
• Counsel patients before their first appointment.
• Obtain required referrals, authorizations, supporting documentation, and insurance pre-certification.
• Maintain current knowledge of insurance guidelines and communicate updates to leadership.
• Identify and report trends or changes in reimbursement patterns.
• Communicate authorization outcomes to clinical and administrative staff.
• Explain insurance coverage, requirements, payment responsibilities, and available financial options to patients.
• Provide timely updates to clinical teams throughout the authorization process.
• Educate clinical staff on patients’ insurance coverage and financial responsibilities.
• Work autonomously while maintaining strong partnerships with internal stakeholders.
• Report to the Supervisor, Patient Financial Services.
