Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years' experience in hospital/clinic/healthcare business office.
• 3 years' experience as Patient Financial Advocate Associate, preferably with Providence St. Joseph Health or affiliates.
• 2 years' experience in automated, computerized account follow-up system, preferably Epic.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with financial clearance and resolution of accounts.
• Handle payment collection and sponsorship education for patients.
• Identify eligibility and submit applications for State and Federal programs.
• Determine eligibility for Providence St. Joseph Health Financial Assistance.
