Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years hospital/clinic/healthcare business office experience.
• 3 years' experience as a Patient Financial Advocate Associate or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years experience with automated follow-up systems (Epic preferred).

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and families via phone or in person to resolve accounts.
• Obtain sponsorship and financial assistance and determine eligibility.
• Complete and submit applications for state and federal programs.
• Educate patients and support Providence's financial assistance processes.
