Qualifications

• Knowledge of healthcare insurance and benefits types (copays, deductibles, coinsurance) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet face-to-face and by phone with patients at the hospital to assist with finances.
• Provide cost estimates for uninsured patients and explain insurance benefits.
• Screen patients for Presumptive Eligibility MO State Medicaid.
• Assist patients with financial assistance applications and promote teamwork.
