Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with patient registration and medical billing preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint required.
• Strong communication and professional demeanor.
• MAB certification due within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and maintain accurate patient and insurance data.
• Verify insurance benefits and patient financial responsibility.
• Review accounts for accuracy and correct missing information.
• Collect co-pays and other POS payments and monitor collections.
• Provide financial counseling and explain hospital policies to patients.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and protect patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative departments.
• Communicate professionally with patients and staff.
