Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's in business management or financial-related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and maintains patient balance accounts, assists with billing and insurance questions, sets up payment plans, and coordinates charity applications.
• Reviews pricing estimates for services and analyzes aging balances to identify cash collection trends.
• Identifies potential bad debt and communicates financial issues to providers and management for appropriate patient arrangements.
• Handles internal and external communications regarding explanations of benefits and remittance advice with patients.
• Coordinates charity assistance applications and ensures required documents are in place for review.
