Pavillon is hiring a Full-Time Patient Financial Services Coordinator in Mill Spring, NC, on-site from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. You will guide patients through costs, payment options, and insurance coverage, ensuring documentation and timely payments in a healthcare admissions setting.

Requires an Associate Degree in Business or equivalent experience, plus 3–5 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience; healthcare insurance experience is preferred. Equal opportunity employer.

• 3–5 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience; healthcare insurance experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide financial counseling and assistance to patients and/or family members as needed.
• Explain program costs, payment options, and insurance coverage clearly and compassionately.
• Review and update the financial console and other documents for approved financial aid, discounts, or adjustments.
• Complete all Patient Financial Agreement documents and validate approvals.
• Ensure patient payments are collected at admission and deposited promptly.
• Obtain signatures on all required financial agreement forms.
• Coordinate with Utilization Review Coordinator and Insurance Specialist on patient insurance issues.
• Collaborate with admissions and clinical teams for accurate financial communication.
• Maintain detailed, confidential financial records per standards.
• Support weekday Financial Services Coordinator coverage when needed.
