Responsibilities

• Greet patients and guarantors at the workstation or bedside and collect necessary information.
• Obtain demographic, financial and insurance information and verify eligibility.
• Explain policies including regulatory and financial consent forms and secure signatures.
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain pre-certifications/authorizations as needed.
• Provide patient cost estimates and process daily payment collections and deposits.
• Schedule appointments, coordinate referrals, and guide patients to appropriate services.
