Triangle Springs is hiring a Financial Counselor (PRN) to help patients understand and manage their medical costs. You will verify insurance, explain benefits, and guide patients through payment options and financing for services received.

The role requires knowledge of HMO/PPO/Medicaid/Medicare and the ability to communicate clearly about financial responsibilities in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in healthcare billing/collections or related field preferred.
• CPI Crisis Prevention Training within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to patients on financial responsibilities from services received.
• Verify insurance benefits and determine patient eligibility for assistance.
• Explain financial liability, collect payments, and arrange feasible payment plans.
