Palmetto Infusion in Georgia is seeking a Financial Counselor to serve as the financial liaison for patients. You will help patients obtain and maintain funding assistance for treatments, and monitor accounts to reduce outstanding balances while ensuring enrollment in assistance programs.

Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. You will work with the Palmetto Infusion team to quote patient pay responsibility, coordinate benefits, and assist enrollment in copay/grant programs through the

Qualifications

• 1 year of healthcare experience or customer service experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with MS Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment under pressure.

Responsabilités

• Provides timely acceptance and completion of referrals.
• Accurately calculates and quotes patient pay responsibility through coordination of benefits.
• Monitors and coordinates collection of patient payments.
• Assists patients in enrollment for copay or grant assistance programs.
• Monitors funding resources and ongoing patient eligibility in assistance programs.
• Completes Insurance Benefit Summaries and forwards to clinics.
