Job summary

Palmetto Infusion in Columbia, SC is seeking a Case Manager to onboard new patient referrals and guide cases through scheduling. You’ll verify insurance benefits, obtain authorizations, and review medical necessity with payors, using FDA guidelines as needed.

You’ll gather information from MD offices, document clinical rationale, and maintain courteous, collaborative communication across the Palmetto Infusion team while supporting process improvements and marketing education materials for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of healthcare experience or customer service experience.
• Proficient with MS Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process new referrals promptly, including insurance verification and authorizations.
• Obtain information from MD offices for insurance authorizations and clinical purposes.
• Review payer policies/FDA guidelines to support medical necessity and document in EMR.
