Responsibilities include collecting payments, establishing payment plans, and supporting daily cash handling while adhering to HIPAA policies.

Qualifikationen

• Two to four years of experience in healthcare, finance, billing, or patient access.
• Working knowledge of insurance processes, Medicare/Medicaid, and common medical terminology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with data entry and documentation skills.
• HIPAA/compliance awareness and privacy regulations.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and review patient cost estimates for visits, procedures, imaging, and injections.
• Collect co-payments, deductibles, coinsurance, and upfront balances.
• Manage patient calls and in-person requests; resolve inquiries and billing questions.
• Establish and manage payment plans per clinic policy; educate on payment methods.
• Complete daily deposits and reconcile departmental deposits.
